Greene Street Communications, LLC is proud to announce that it has been selected to provide Branding & Marketing Services to the Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity (SBSD). The effort will include a complete overhaul of the department’s current logo as officials move to enhance its delivery of services and outreach to business owners in the State of Virginia.
“As a Virginia-based small business, we were immediately drawn to this opportunity. It’s vital that small businesses receive support from state agencies, because we are pretty big drivers of the job market. We are very excited about providing our marketing expertise to the wonderful team at the SBSD,” stated Shana Kemp, Managing Partner, at Greene Street Communications.
SBSD is the state agency dedicated to enhancing the participation of micro, small, women- and minority-owned businesses as well as service disabled veterans, employment service organizations, and historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) in Virginia’s procurement opportunities. SBSD is responsible for the administration of two certification programs: the Small, Women- and Minority-owned Businesses under Virginia’s “SWaM” Procurement Initiative and the federal U.S. Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (“DBE”) Program. SBSD also provides support to certified businesses through business development and procurement advocacy programs, in cooperation with other agencies and departments.
