Greene Street Communications offers insight on small business marketing and branding success at the Washington DC Economic Partnership's final "Entrepreneurship Roadmap" event of 2016.
As Greene Street Communications, LLC (GSC) continues its meteoric rise as a true player in the federal and commercial contracting space, the firm is proud to share tips and strategies for success with other small businesses seeking to grow. Wednesday, November 2nd, Greene Street was a featured presenter at the Washington DC Economic Partnership’s final “Entrepreneurship Roadmap” event of 2016. Jamilah Fraser, GSC president, provided a wealth of strategies and tips for how to best market and brand small businesses in a highly-competitive environment. The tips included everything from guidance on fine-tuning an “elevator pitch” to designing impactful marketing materials that help seal the deal. Both Fraser and GSC vice president, Shana Kemp, took part in a very active Q&A session in which participants were able to get immediate advice on how to best advance their businesses.
“We are so proud of having been invited to participate in this great event that truly speaks to the spirit of collaboration in the small business community. We look forward to being a resource for other small businesses in the future,” stated Jamilah Fraser, president of Greene Street Communications.
GSC was joined on the panel by Nicole Cober, Principal Managing Partner of D.C.-based Cober Johnson & Romney and Erik Kozlik, CEO of D.C.-based Embitterment DC. Each firm offered a presentation before taking part in the question and answer period. Each remained well after the event ended to answer additional questions from eager participants.
GSC has seen great success in recent months, receiving four competitive and/or sole-source awards in one month alone. Known as the “Strategy Experts”, GSC has been awarded new contracts with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Georgia Army National Guard, the Defense Media Activity (DoD) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to serve as a superior creative implementation partner in the field of communications for the government.
